Problems With mkinitrd compiling 3w-9xxx

Hi All,

I'm trying to custom compile a new 3ware driver for my 9500sx SATA RAID card. I followed their instructions which are either not very accurate or out of whack relative to my distribution (in either case, they're not very well written).

http://www.3ware.com/kb/article.aspx?id=12690

I'm running trustix version 3.0 with the intention of this box being a vmware server. I'm getting the following output when making the ramdisk to boot with at the end:

Code:
root@vmware ~/driver# /usr/sbin/mkinitrd -v -o /boot/initrd-2.6.17.14-1trsmp initrd-2.6.17.14-1trsmp

I'm afraid to reboot based on the errors I'm getting in the verbose output, but I've never done this before. Any tips? Am I OK?

Thanks!

Jason

skip that...my brain was apparently compiled with the idiot option or I'm currently infected with the beer virus. I figured out the proper parameters to pass and I appear to be in better shape.
