Problems with installation 9999 screen

Hi there, I am very new with Linux and I am having problems to install it. I found posts about it but I am a beginner so most of the solutions requires more advanced skills.
Can someone help me with basic steps how to fix it?

U seem to have a bootloader problem Id guess.

Maybe just try to boot the computer via the CD again & see if U cant try to reinstall the bootloader again.

the 9's are a lilo boot loader problem...it didn't install correctly. boot with you install cd...follow the directions to boot into your distro...then reinstall the bootloader...

I tried to install it again several times and the problem still there.. If I run the primaryHD with Windows and install Linux in a second HD, everything runs perfect however if I just want Linux (and that is the case), I can't get it to work.
My problem also is that if I run windows as the primary HD, when I am in Linux I can only see the C: (where windows is), I can't see D: (that is the HD where Linux is installed). I am confused.
