Problems updating PHP etc in CentOS 5.6 using Utterramblings

I get the following error when trying to update PHP (and a few other items) using the Utterramblings repository:

I've used Yum priorities to set Utterramblings as a lower priority than the CentOS repositories.

Have I set up priorities incorrectly, or is there something else?

To me it looks like the utterramblings requires stuff newer
than the base OS. You may be better off downloading the
SRPMs for your centos packages, and re-build them with the
version you need.

.. Also looks like you are trying to install x86_64 packages into an i386 OS ?

Or if you really have a 64bits OS, it's quite unusual to have those i386 packages
installed currently, I think.
( pcre-6.6-6.el5_6.1.i386, mysql-5.0.77-4.el5_6.6.i386 ).

FYI, I had the same error.

I had both mysql.i386 and mysql.x86_64 installed, I found running 'yum remove mysql.i386' resolved the issue.

I haven't had any side effects with my mysql installation, during the update I did need to restart the mysql server to upgrade/fix some tables.
