Question Problems reinstalling Windows 98 after Fedora

I installed Yarrow on an older 400 MHz system and it worked but was slow. I ran windows 98 install and it seemed to install fine but on final boot up it hung up just before the GUI kicked on. It looks like a command prompt with the word Grub but it is frozen. I can boot from a 98 start up disk to get to a command prompt but cannot seem to install windows. The install did format the hard drive. Any help would be appreciated

Hi Mipnam!!!

You've to clean the MBR (Master Boot Record). Using your win98 boot disk, boot your computer and when you reach the prompt C:\, type:

fdsik /mbr

That's it. Reboot and voila

Hate to nitpick,

I think you meant "fdisk /mbr" MegaMan, as compared to "fdsik /mbr"

I know, I know... sorry!
