Problems reading Floppy Disk
Hello,
I am working on a Linux Red Hat Enterprise 3 (ES) server. I tried to mount the floppy drive under the root user as folllows: mount /mnt/floppy I then try to copy files to and from the floppy to some folders on my Server. However I noticed the following: 1) When attempting to copy files, I get a return message saying the file is read only or write protected. 2) Even if I change disk in the floppy drive I always see the same content. Any ideas what is going on? How can I get my floppy drive working normally again ? PT |
