Problems loading Skype in 12.04
 

Have downloaded skype at 2 different times and levels of upgrades and skype still does not show up in programs

It would be helpful to have more complete information.

You've indicated that you downloaded Skype.

How did you install it?

Where did you expect it to show up?

Are you using some Desktop environment such as KDE or Gnome, with Linux? If so which desktop are you using?

and WHAT did you download?
the Microsoft ONLY "exe"
or something else

there are DL's for
the DEAD fedora 13
the OLD ubuntu 10.4
Opensuse11? ( only 11.4 is still supported )
