Problems Installing xmms-1.2.8-1.i386.rpm


Hi... I am newbie.I really need some help here in installing this xmms player.I tried running it but then it came out this message.....

error: Failed dependencies:
xmms = 1.2.7 is needed by (installed)xmms-devel-1.2.7-21.p


If anyone could help me , i would be grateful.

Anyway thanks in advance...

it seems like u are upgrading. either install it using the command
'rpm -U xmms-1.2......' or remove those those packages and install xmms using 'rpm -i xmms-1.2......'
