Unhappy problems installing flashplayer

Hi I'm running opensuse 11 on vmplayer and I download the tar.gz file from adobes website and open it with arc extract it to /home/vmplanet and I get two files flashplayer-installer and libflashplayer.so I open the terminal and type in flashplayer-installer permission denied ok so I run as the root and type in the same thing...bash: flashplayer-installer: command not found ok so now I type in /home/vmplanet/flashplayer-installer and get permission denied so wtf any help on this would be great thanks

The installer doesn't come with the executable bit set.
Code:
chmod +x flashplayer-installer &&
./flashplayer-installer

You can configure touchpad scrolling from within sax2.
