Problems installing Fedora Core 3

Hi - Being new to the Linux world, I naturally ran into a snag early on. I downloaded the ISO's for Fedora Core 3, copied them to CD's, and ran the install program. The first time I tried to install it, the program terminated abnormally during the installation phase before it had completed even the first CD. The second time, it actually made it to the second CD before terminating the same way.

I am trying to run a dual-boot system with WinXP. I have created three partitions for FC3, one for /usr, one for /, and one for swap. If I am doing something wrong or if anyone has any advice on what to do, please help!

Cool

Hi

During the installation how far did you get when it was aborted by the program......?
Did it complain about a file before it aborted the installation...or did it reboot while installing..?

Actually I found the problem. For some reason, it didn't like installing from my CD burner. I swapped it to the other CD drive, and had no problems. Still not sure what caused that, but it works now. Thanks for the replies!
