Problems Installing

Hi everyone,
I just finished downloading Linux Fedora and I recently bought a PC from ebay. It's a Compaq DeskPro with a 500 MHz P3. I'd like to install Linux on this PC but when I start the PC, it ignores the CD that I created and goes right to an NT logon screen for the company that sold the computer. I went into the BIOS and selected boot from CD first, but it's going right to the NT logon. I have the 4 image CD's burned, what else should I be doing? Is there something that I've missed? Please help, thanks!

Looking at the obvious..
What application did you use to create the CDs? If you look at the contents of the CD, do you see a single ISO file or lots of directories and files?

You should see files and directories but if you extracted them prior to burning then the CD will not be bootable. If all you see is a single ISO file then you did not burn them correctly. XP can not natively (default install) create a CD from an ISO image.
