I downloaded the latest version of libbtctl (0.5) and gnome-bluetooth (0.6.0) from http://usefulinc.com/software/gnome-bluetooth/
compiling libbtctl went good without any warnings or errors, however
configuring gnome-bluetooth yields the following error:
checking for libglade-2.0 gobject-2.0 libgnomeui-2.0 >= 1.110.0 gconf-2.0 libbtctl >= 0.5.0... Package libbtctl was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libbtctl.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libbtctl' found
configure: error: Library requirements (libglade-2.0 gobject-2.0 libgnomeui-2.0 >= 1.110.0 gconf-2.0 libbtctl >= 0.5.0) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.
$PKG_CONFIG_PATH was not declared.
I searched through my system for 'libbtctl.pc' and found it in /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig .
Then i declared th PKG_CONFIG_PATH: export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig .
And gave ./configure another try.
Everything seemed to work fine now, installing went good without any problems.
Nevertheless, the system is not working right, the gnome-obex-fileserver crashes as soon as i try to send a file to my PC.
and I don't have the context menu for sending files to my cellphone in Nautilus
can anybody help me? I paired my phone and PC properly, they recognize each other nicely, but the file transfer refuses to work.
