Talking Problem with USB camera

MY USB port(s) or something does not work. I do not know alot about computers. I'll tell what i Know. I can not download my pictures from my digital camera to my computer. I connect the camera to the USB port. Nothings happenes. If I go to the device manager it does read my Samsung camera, but I can not get it to work or to download or even look at the pictures. Can you help me?

Are you even using linux? If so, what distro.

Did you give any thought to a descriptive title?

Did you consider the thread most suited to your post?

What have you tried to do so far?

What operating system are you using? Camera? Any sort of pertinent details at all?

By the way, your title sucks.

If you're actually using Linux (and I'm not convinced you are), it sounds like everything's working but the device isn't mounted.
