Question problem with the starting of network services


dear all,

i have one problem with my pc.

in my my computer two os are there: xp and RHEL 4.0

when i start my pc with RHEL, its start completely.

but when i was trying to start network service

it was give me the error like:

Bringing up interface eth0:
3C501 device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.

and other thing was that when i was activate eth0 from network tools
it was gave me the same error.

please do the needful.

thanx in advance.

Does the card work when you boot windows? Have you double-checked the board to make sure it's seated and plugged in? Checked the cabling?
