kernel ------

hi sir, Actually Both config.files are big.I am sending only the following part..The config file for the old kernel 2.4.20-8 is:-# File systems
#
CONFIG_ROMFS_FS=m
CONFIG_EXT2_FS=y
CONFIG_SYSV_FS=m
CONFIG_CMS_FS=m
CONFIG_EXT3_FS=m
CONFIG_EXT3_INDEX=y
CONFIG_EXT3_FS_XATTR=y
CONFIG_EXT3_FS_XATTR_SHARING=y
CONFIG_EXT3_FS_XATTR_USER=y
CONFIG_EXT3_FS_POSIX_ACL=y
whereas the config file for the 2.4.28 is:
# CONFIG_QUOTA is not set
# CONFIG_AUTOFS_FS is not set
CONFIG_AUTOFS4_FS=y
# CONFIG_REISERFS_FS is not set
# CONFIG_EXT3_FS is not set
# CONFIG_JBD is not set
# CONFIG_FAT_FS is not set
# CONFIG_CRAMFS is not set
CONFIG_TMPFS=y
CONFIG_RAMFS=y
CONFIG_ISO9660_FS=y
# CONFIG_JOLIET is not set
# CONFIG_ZISOFS is not set
# CONFIG_JFS_FS is not set
# CONFIG_MINIX_FS is not set
# CONFIG_VXFS_FS is not set
# CONFIG_NTFS_FS is not set
# CONFIG_HPFS_FS is not set
CONFIG_PROC_FS=y
CONFIG_DEVPTS_FS=y
# CONFIG_QNX4FS_FS is not set
# CONFIG_ROMFS_FS is not set
CONFIG_EXT2_FS=y
# CONFIG_SYSV_FS is not set.
As it is showing that CONFIG_EXT3_FS is not set. Where to enable this support for EXT3 during kernel configuration.(i.e. Which option to enable in make xconfig--> File Systems ).
