problem with streaming in ubuntu 9.10

Hi my name is Charis and I am new in ubuntu.
I use Ubuntu 9.10- the Karmic Koala, and everything is perfect.
Except from this: In some!! streaming videos ,radios or anything streaming, I can't press the buttons(play, skip, full screen...). I use google chrome but the same problem is on mozzilla! But when I hit(with the mouse) a lot of times on play button, for example, it works! But this is very annoying.
Ι don't know a lot of things about computers and I don't know what to do.
Thanks a lot!

Try this: Do Alt & F2 then type
Code:
GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1 firefox
then click run or ok. If this works let me know and I will give instructions on how to apply this command to run automatically.

It's not working. :"Error stating file '/home/charis/GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1 firefox': No such file or directory"
Do you know another way?
Thank you

My mistake, I should have pointed out this solution is for those using the 64 bit version of flash.

There's a solution here you might want to try: http://kevin.vanzonneveld.net/techbl...ems_on_ubuntu/

Kevin's Flash 64 solution?

Hi
I was also having problem with playing You tube $ hulu vids with my AMD 64-bit machine.
Used Kevin's command line solution, but still can't see vid.
Was there something I missed in the solution?

Thanks
