problem with sound driver
 
i recently installed mp3blaster.when i tried to play mp3 it showed an error
stating "unable to open sound driver"
also tried to open aumix file
error showed
"unable to open aumix driver"
plz help

Spell out your words, and write clearly. And if you'd like help, provide details.

What version/distro of Linux? You installed mp3blaster from WHAT? Source? Package? What kind of sound and other hardware? Are you able to play any sounds at all?

linux red hat 9
i installed mp3 from package, and this was my first time so never have plyed any songs or any kind of sounds.

RedHat 9?? That's very, VERY old, so it's not surprising you're having problems. First thing I'd suggest is installing something current. Second is to try some of the other MP3 players out there, but chances are they won't work either, given the age of your OS.

any other sugestion how i find right driver on net for my pc
