Problem with Software Updater in Linux 6.1 Ps3

Hey there!!

I had the same problem with Linux 6.1 and have completely forgotten how I managed to resolve it. @terrasoftsolutions they have the amended data scripts for Yum base, etc. Here: [URL="http://us.fixstars.com/support/solutions/ydl_6.x/yum.shtml"] ,so that Yum searches towards the right http address(es) on the net. In 6.1 they were actually blank (although others had http addresses that were incorrect).

So what I would like someone to tell me is which commands do you use to firstly get to the correct areas in Yum and secondly how to edit those areas. I know I did it - but it was in a kind of blaze of glory moment and should have written it down. Treat me as if I know absolutely nothing at all - or I may end up missing something you assume I already know.

Thanks for any help!!
