problem with skype
 

hi all of u,,this is mehnaz nd m new in linux.i am using redhat 9.Can anyone help me in installing skype,,kindly tell me step by step procedure for installing skype from console.please please please help me

Get rid of Red Hat 9 and install a newer distribution. It's out of date and no longer supported. You'd probably have to update a lot of packages to get Skype to run on it.

Out of interest, what made you install Red Hat 9 (rather than a newer distribution) in the first place?

i was having nic problem with other versions
now i m thinking to switch to fedora

I'd definitely choose Fedora over Red Hat 9. If you still have problems, post new threads telling us exactly what those problems are.
