Problem with sese 9.0


Hello
I have installed suse 9.0 successfully
But as soon as i finish all my setup work and boot my linux
i donot get the login screen
The screen goes blank

Pls help

How far in do you get?

*Do you get as far as the Grub bootloader? (Linux/Windows/Failsafe selection bit)
*Do you get as far as the SuSE loading screen?

By a blank screen, do you mean a command line (black with flashing cursor and login prompt) or just a completely black screen? If it is not the command line then it may be the X-Server (graphical server) acting up. (I can't help you with that unfortunately, as I'm a noob :P)

I went as far to suse loding screen and then i get a completly black screen

What to do

On the loading screen (hopefully we're talking of the same thing) it says "Press
F2 to ..." (not sure if it is F2). Press the key. If you can see a text output then,
wait until your machine hangs, write down the last lines which you've seen and
post them here.
