Problem with scanner: Fedora 9

I am using Fedora 9. Today I tried to plug in my BenQ scanner for the first time.
I ran the xsane scanner tool. It detected the scanner:
Quote:
Acer FlatbedScanner [snapscan:libusb:005:003]
After this when I click OK the following error pops up:
Quote:
Failed to open device 'snapscan:libusb:005:003': Invalid argument.
What do I need to do to get my scanner working?

Hi. Same issue, except for my scanner worked and now all of a sudden I get Failed to open device invalid argument warning. I use Lexmark x1150 Print Trio scanner/printer. Anyone knows what's going on?
