Question problem with rsh


i m trying to write script using perl and that too with rsh ..

problem here is i m getting this message, while using rsg..

connect to address 192.168.20.172: Connection refused
Trying krb4 rlogin...
connect to address 192.168.20.172: Connection refused
trying normal rlogin (/usr/bin/rlogin)
192.168.20.172: Connection refused

how to overcome and i have to complete this... pls help regarding this

Please write clearly, and spell out your words, and you're going to have to give some details about your systems. What version/distro of Linux?

First, can you connect via rsh from a command-line? If so, then you have a user name/password problem. If not, there's something wrong with rsh. Without posting any parts of your script, it's hard to debug it.
