problem with pg_dump...plz help


Hi all,

i am taking back up of database called vrpl ...so,

su h800
pgdump vrpl >hi.out

it is working..

but whn i put the whole code in 1.sh and running..it is giving...

pg_dump: [archiver (db)] connection to database "vrpl" failed: FATAL: role "root" does not exist


plz help me...

vrpl is the database for user h800...

hi all,
the above is working but through cronjob it is not working...

i have given 20 12 * * * /bin/hourback.sh..

still it is not working...plz help me
