Exclamation Problem with my Intel 5100 AGN Wireless Card


hi!
I bought a new hp 6830s laptop with an intel 5100 agn wireless card that i couldn't configure it. so i can't use it. I am asking you for the solution for my problem.

Hi,

Welcome to LQ!

You need to provide more information, distribution, kernel and what you have tried to date. Along with the before mentioned items you should provide any error messages you may have received.

You could provide 'dmesg |grep -i intel', 'lspci -vv', 'ifconfig -a' along with your network configuration files. You should look at the next links;

Thanks ... but another problem

Hi,
thanks for your help but i searched in the net and solved my problem with my wireless card. And now i'm trying to activate my sound card, i installed the alsa-project driver, i followed the steps written in the alsa-project.org (here) but when i can't insert the module in the kernel.
i'm using Fedora 10 with a kernel 2.6.25.7:
