Unhappy problem with my adsl


hi
i recently installed debian 4.0 on my laptop compaq pesario v3000
i have a bsnl broad band connection with siemens c2110 adsl modem usb+ethernet i want to connect to net i have user name and password only plz tell me how to configure my modem step by step and conncet to internet

thanks in advance

this appears to be a rebranded BT Voyager 2110, and in that case there is no configuration required under linux if you use the ethernet connection. the client PC has nothing whatsoever to do with configuring the internet side at all, just connect to the web interface at http://192.168.1.1 and go nuts.
