Talking You need symply to connect CD to soundcard!!

Sometimes manufacturers don't connect CD-Rom device to sound card properly using a thin gray audio cable ("other" OS doesn't need it because they make Digital Extraction of data by default Linux doesn't).
First find an audio cable then open your case and plug one end of the cable to the connector on the left of IDE cable in the rear of your CD unit.
Connect the other end of the audio cable to the connector named CD-in on the motherboard or soundcard if you have it.
Close your case and play your CD it should works now.
Let me now!!

well the problem is that i have sound card integrated with my motherboard, and that the wires are already connected.
