Problem with log filles postfix


hello

i deleted file maillog and i have problem
becouse this file not created auto..

I check the setup in logsys.conf
and .

mail* -/var/log/maillog

What's happend ?

PS> i look in the massages file and not loginn mail

Postfix working correct send the mail

did you try to create an empty file, restart postfix, and see if the system will use it ?

system:# touch /var/log/maillog

system:# /etc/init.d/postfix restart

system:# more /var/log/maillog


that's where I would start..

Yes i try all

i created this file manual and any permissions.
and restart.

Only system if restart tuday then created auto empty file maillog.1
so. logsys working. but i don't have logs this is empty file ?????

why postfix don't write any log if system create this file.


everythink....

i resolve this problem
you stop|kill syslogd deamon and restart
now is log wirte
thank's for posts
before stoped syslogd you must stoped postfix
