Problem with LIRC redrat

Hi,

I have managed to create a stb tester a freeware for testing set top box, one of the components used in LIRC controlled device RedRat which is for sending IR commands to the set top box.

Now when i create a test script which have alot of steps (for eg. about 40-45 steps where in each step is IR command) after executing few steps it give me an error:
error: [Errno 11] Failed to connect to Lirc socket /var/run/lirc/lircd: [Errno 11] Resource temporarily unavailable

I am using a Fedora17

Can anyone help me resolve this issue?
Thanks
