problem with kyocera printer
 
I have distro SUSE 11.1 and I wish connect my LJ printer kyocera1000+.
I made a connection with Yast. Priner is working but on paper become only text like this...

%!PS -Adobe -3.0
%%LangugeLevel: 1
%%DocumentData: Clean7Bit
%%DocumentSuppliedRes

....and nothing more.

Hi,
as I remember, there is option like "text printer only" or similar. Should be unchecked. I assume you have installed property drivers for your printer.

Hi, minrich,
I was on that site twice befor. I thing minigfull the fact that printing text file with command 'cat blabla.txt > /dev/usb/lp0' give good result. Also tree drivers was changed with same end result. Oh, the printer is cabled on computer via paralle2usb adapter, but from yast is well recognised. Any idea?

mpier, thanks for your effort, but in yast I haven't found any option for 'text only' may be in other configuration program. Thanks to both.
