Unhappy Problem with dual boot

Hi to all!
First, sorry my poor english...
I installed a slackware 13.37 first. And then I installed musix linux with a grub, first version, on /dev/sda. I wrote the following lines on menu.lst file:

title slackware 13.37
root (hd0,1)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/sda2 ro

But, it did not work, and I don't know why...
Anyone can help me?

Thanks for the kindness!

It didn't work doesn't give anyone much insight into what the problem was. Did you install grub from Musix Linux to the master boot record? Is Slackware on the second partition of the first hard drive? Which Grub does Musix Linux use, Grub Legacy or Grub2? The entry will not be the same for the different versions of Grub. If you have Grub Legacy, I would suggest you delete the kernel line for Slackware and replace it with this: chainloader +1

Hi!
Slackware was not loaded from the boot , even with the new line (chainloader +1). The grub's message was:

" Error 13: Invalid or unsupported executable format"

I installed Grub legacy from Musix instalation, to the master boot record. Slackware is on second partition of the first hard drive, formatted with ext4 FS and Musix is on second partition of the second hard drive with ext3 FS.

Slackware - sda2 or hda2
DVD drive - sr0 or hdb
Musix - sdb2 or hdc2

Thanks.

Grub legacy will not boot an ext4 partition directly unless the grub legacy has been patched to do so. Boot into your Slackware using your install cd/dvd and run liloconfig to intall lilo to the root partition of Slackware, if you haven't already done so, and then chainload from your grub as Yancek suggested
