Unhappy problem with "configure" script.


hey guys,
can somebody tell me what this message means.

bash: ./INSTALL: /bin/sh: bad interpreter: Permission denied

i got it as the very first message while trying to run the "configure" and/or "INSTALL" scripts.
that's all. the configuration is aborted.

Are you sure INSTALL is a script?
If it is a script then is the executable attribute set?
Is this a file in the source file you are compiling?
Point us to a link that has the file you are building?
