Problem with Booting

I have a P4 running FC4.
Having the following error.

Code : Bad EIP value.
<0>Kernel Panic - not syncing: fatal exception in interrupt

The only change i made is I had the speakers connected to that. The problem happened when I disconnected. Now it is not working even if I connect.

Thanks for your help.

At a quick search, the only things I can find about EIP values suggest it's a problem with the PCI devices. Either one of the devices is dead (or dying) or your BIOS settings are incorrect. Try setting "Plug and Play Aware OS" in the BIOS to "No" and then reboot.

I checked the BIOS. It's set to No only.
