I have problem to run AC97 under my linux.
Distro is Slackware 7.0 kernel 2.2.13.
If someone know how to make it work ...... please ......... the sound is only reason whay I still hold Windows on my HDD.

Seems to be working on kernels 2.2.16 and up with OSS or Alsa-0.5.10 sound modules.
Get Alsa & newer kernel, configure & compile...
