Problem with AbiWord

I wrote my office document in AbiWord and On next day when i tried to open that document a message displayed
"this document is bogus"
and one ok button so having no other option i pressed it .then i saw the whole document was blank.
So i thought some thing wrong may happen.and i tried to open from recent document. So message appear that revert saved file on disk.
by mistake i pressed yes and the whole document lost.there was only blank document.i thought perhapes i forgot to save that document. So i had to write it again and saved properly but surprisely same thing happened on next day.
"this is a bogus document"
after that i tried to open thro' recent document and this time i responsed 'no' on message window:
revert saved file on disk.

but this time also the whole document lost.
so what's wrong with this application.

i tried to check by making a small document save and after rebooting machine again open it then i came properly. so why my that document lost.Atleast some thing should be there if i had forgotten to save last changes.
I want to know why this was happened if any body have experienced the same problem.
I m now not using AbiWord.

I *never* had any probs like that with Abiword.
If your version is not the current one, upgrade and try again.
If your version is current, then fire off a message to the maintainers mailinglist (or forum, if any) and tell 'em what version you use, what kind of document (abw, rtf, doc, etc, etc), what local user, what permissions on file/directory and any other stuff so they can try and reproduce the error.

HTH somehow.
