problem while finishing kernel 2.6
 

ive reinstalled MDK 9.2 a couple of times already (mainly cuz ive screwed up in some places and i dont know how to fix them without reinstalling, which i dont really mind) and today i tried upgrading to kernel and i almost finished it, but it gave me an error when trying to make the initrd

i got the error msg: No dep file found for kernel 2.6.5

ive no idea what that is or how to go about fixing that.....any ideas?

did you do a 'make dep' command?
