problem when istalling ubuntu-7.04-desktopv


hi all ... iam mosaad gabal from egypt 26 years ... an new member ...

when i try to install ubuntu-7.04-desktop for the first time .. this message was appered

"Failed to start the X server (your graphical user interface). It is likely that it is not set up correctly. Would you like to view the X server output to diagnose the problem."


what can i do tro continue instaaling ?
and which version o linux can help me to learn programing ?

Ubuntu 7.04 is ancient and will not work on newer hardware. I would recommend to get the current version 13.04 (9 months support) or the LTS version 12.04 (5 years support).
You can learn programming on any distribution.
