Question problem!! vyatta 6.6R1 configuration doesnt survive the reboot

I got vyatta 6.6R1 when I uses de save command said this
"Saving configuration to '/config/config.boot'".... done
when I reboot it all my configuration are gone..

Im using Vmware 9.02 on W7 ultimate
i have to snapshot or suspend my virtual machine because if i turn it off or reset it will be gone ..

any help?

I only remember issuing the "commit" command to save changes. Have you followed the basic steps as described in the quickstart guide, by going into configure, making changes, then committing those changes?
