Where is

find /usr -name
If it's in /usr/X11R6/lib, is /usr/X11R6/lib in /etc/

echo /usr/X11R6/lib >> /etc/
Have you run ldconfig

i can't find it
i can't seem to find that file should it been installed when the rest was? i did a full install and it didn't say any errors, could it be the kernel? i'm using the test26 one?

should i start again did i chose something i shouldn't of?

It doesn't look like a kernel problem. It should have been installed with everything else, but it looks like something's gone wrong. Do you have (it should be in /usr/X11R6/lib)?

Also, you should create a normal user account and use that for logging into a GUI. Only use root when you need to, it's safer that way.
