Problem removing package fedora 12
 
The menu item in Add/Remove Software - menu Selection - Item Remove: is not active.

I see in the help documentation that there is a PolicyKit Permissions screen - and assume that if I can find it I can give myself permission to remove - but dont know how to find this permissions screen.

Can someone point me to it?

Try on the console su root password enter
yum remove package name enter
