problem of install the skype ubuntu 12.04

root@dabia-OptiPlex-745:/home/dabia# apt-get install skype
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package skype is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'skype' has no installation candidate

Skype is not "open source" software provided or supported by Ubuntu.
It is a proprietary "closed source" product of Microsoft.

You can download and install it here: http://www.skype.com/

Do so at your own risk, since Skype is not provided/supported/tested/recommended/endorsed by the open source community. You are in Microsoft's hands now.
