Problem mounting CD-ROM on Debian
When i try to mount the cd-rom I get the message
wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdb,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful help is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
The CD-ROM was working ok previously; I made a few things that made the distro freeze and so I hit the "reset" button. When It was back, it would no longer mount the CD-ROM.
It happened before, but it auto fixed on boot: I saw the message "<i don't remeber what> was mounted/started 30 times without verification, forcing verification now"; then it verified the filesystem (I guess) and everything was back to normal.
I don't want to restart 30 times so the system will auto fix...
Thanks in advance.
