Problem listening BBC News on-line.
I am using Fedora-9.I have installed realplayer also. I am not able to listen BBC news on-line.Can any one suggest me a solution?
I am using mozilla firefox-3. Do you want me to provide more info? |
what does firefox do when you click the link for listening?
(Exact message) also you can type about:plugins into the address bar of firefox to find out if everything was installed right. |
Install mplayer plugin for firefox, if mplayer has problem with bbc (it hasn't for me), just install the original Realplayer from the websites' .bin and copy/paste url from Mplayerplugin window (right clic on the windows, then select "copy url") to Realplay.
Since Realplay .bin is static it works on x86-64 too. Alternatively, bbc has a flash version of it's client "bbcplayer" (or whatever it's called...), search their website to launch the player ui and launch the radio from there. |
The problem is still on..
Thank you buddies. The problem is still on. While accessing BBC site, It starts the real player but there is no audio. :-(.
I have both M-Player and Real-player installed. |
