Problem installing xmms..
 

Hi..

I tried installing xmms by going through a particular thread on this site. It gave me 2 commands.

Now i'm not able to run xmms. Moreover how to uninstall this?
And one more question, what exactly does yum do?

xmms is no longer in development, and it will get increasingly harder to get it working on new distributions. I would look for a new player.

yum is an install program...
to remove the stuff, type: yum-remove ...
Those are all useful packages though if you like music :) I would keep them.
Any particular reason why you need xmms specifically? Totem, Audacious, Exaile... won't do?
