Angry problem installing XML::LibXML

I'm having problems installing libXML from CPAN on my RedHat Linux 8 box.
When I do a "make test" it always fails on test 40 and test 41.
I have made sure that lib2 and other dependencies are already installed.

This is the first time I haven't been able to figure out how to
install a module from CPAN!
