problem in installing Ubuntu 8.04 on imac g4


I am having the same issue that has been mentioned here, i have not yet found a solution to install the Ubuntu 8.04 on imac g4 is there anyone who can help me out??

Why Ubuntu 8.04? There are newest releases and 8.04 wont have support much longer. Also there is a Ubuntu version for Mac with instructions on how to install it.
