problem in installation from the source?


i tried to install K3b a CD burning software from the source
and there are no error messages and dependency failures
but i can't execute it bcoz ...i can't find a command for it to execute
i tried k3b...
please help

May be a path issue. Try /opt/kde/bin/k3bsetup and then /opt/kde/bin/k3b. Make sure it's on your path after that, if that works. You did do the 'su' 'make install' part, right?

-- And, actually, you may need to be root to run k3bsetup and need to run it before you can run k3b.
