problem in configuring xine
 

hello all ,
i m facing problem in installing xine-lib-1.0...
it complied succesfully but when i tried to configure it , it gives error in last step
"configure :error: 'HAVE_XV' was never defined"
plz help me
since i m a newbie plz give information in detail.

Go to www.google.fi/linux and enter your _exact_ error message there. I tried it out and found a lot of info on the subject.

You can use same approach to all error messages. Beware that if you use non-english locales the error messages are different and you might not find lots of hits.

what i thin is that u have some problem with ur X server packages

run this

rpm -qa|grep x11

and post the O/P here
