Problem connecting to software source

This is the error I get when I ever I try to add/remove software. Apparently the repomd.xml (for repository: fedora) file cannot be reached. How do I fix this?? My interent connection uses a proxy.

try this :

export http_proxy=user:passwd@your_proxy_host:your_port
yum install software
