Unhappy name error in squid

Hi,

The error message:

unable to determine the host address for cfd0043
dnsserver returned:

This means that:
cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in URL
...

how can i able to solve by making squid to understand about the hostname resolving.

if it's just that one dns entry, add it to the /etc/hsots file on that machine. if you can ping that name from the squid server itself, then squid should be able to reach it too.
