Probelm with loading eth0

Hi, this is the very first time I have used linux so im pretty clueless as of how to configure anything. I am using mandrake 10.1 and everything pretty much loaded fine except on bootup the loading of eth0 fails. Since I have adsl here I am unable to use the internet from linux. I managed to set it up with the adsl-setup command. Could someone please help, and please note that im only begining and dont really no many command lines. Thanks. btw, the network card is a sis 900 pci

Hi.

Could you tell us when this fails - for example, if there is an error message during boot, can you copy it to here?

Hey there,

we could really do with seeing exactly what it says. Also, can you run 'ifconfig' and give us the output.
