probaly a basic dumb problem

i have CentOS 4.2 server with webmin control panel

i am trying to make the webmins bandwidth monitor module workor was, i finally got it to start but it woudlnt output any data (perhaps something to do wiht my iptables ill bring this back up)

anyway i pretty much given up and so i decided to look for an alternate bandwidth monitoring tool. even though it wont be in my webmin CP itll monitor my bandwidth so you know might as well. anyways according to alot of research vnStat ( http://humdi.net/vnstat/ ) is a very accurate, basic, and lightweight bandwidth monitor, exaclty what i need!

i was about to install it but i decided first i needed to turn off the module in the control panel that i had just got turned on (to avoid conflicts or something i dont know)

so i pressed Turn off monitoring in the module and it outputted this

Flushing firewall rules: [ OK ]
Setting chains to policy ACCEPT: mangle filter [ OK ]
Applying iptables firewall rules: iptables-restore: line 10 failed
[FAILED]

ahah! so i guess theres something wrong with my iptables or something like that? unfourtnaly i don't know what anything of that output means so i don't know how or what to fix.

i would like ot use the module bandwidth monitoring still if possible, if not i'd like to turn it off (so i then would use vnstat)

First thing first...check whats at line number 10 in iptables configuration, try restarting network service once.
